About Us

Acme Friends is run and owned by husband-and-wife team, Bud and Denise Stiarwalt. Acme Friends Services was created out of a sympathetic reaction to monthly, weekly, often daily SOS calls from their parents. The calls began as simple requests for phone and tech assistance.  As a result of pandemic life, they had time on their hands and were able to respond immediately. Overnight, the to-do-list grew to include a mountain of neglected, daunting tasks. They realized their parents had not been asking for help for fear of becoming a burden; this broke Bud and Denise's hearts and they knew it had to be a common scenario. 

What do other folks do when they don't have access to an available family member or trustworthy friend? Denise and Bud wanted to help. They are now a full time, husband-and-wife team of expert, compassionate, task smashers. They are your trustworthy, reliable, integrable, super-helpful friends. Their mission is simple: To provide their unique brand of compassionate, affordable services to make life easier.  Why them? Because if they weren’t around to help the people they love, they’d want someone exactly like them to be able to call upon.
